A WINTER WONDERLAND (for 24 hours)

I realize 9" of snow is no big deal for those who live in the north.

But for those who are raised in the south; it's just freaking magical!!

It's hot chocolate time in front of the fireplace.

The millet for the birds, almost touches the snow below.

In just a few hours, the snow transforms the trees, bushes and anything that happens to be out, takes on a new and wonderful white shape.

There's nothing more awesome than standing outside, especially at night,
and watching a heavy snowfall on a windless night.

What little light there is, is reflected back, brightening the night with a glow.

Or standing outside,
looking up and catching huge snowflakes in your mouth!!
When it's snowing,
my world slows down.
There is no other word for it-
 Snow is Magical!

Hello, pretty snowy images. We had a few inches of the cold wet stuff too.

Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week!

I know what you mean - I live in California and it snows maybe once every couple of years and we all LOVE it.

Your photos are beautiful.
