Sometimes it's to help us learn,
Sometimes it's to encourage us,
Or strengthen our faith,
Or help us see something wonderful. . .
Phyllis - You've been an inspiration to me,
From the start -
I hope you know how very much that means.

I'm so sorry to learn of her passing. For some reason this reminds me of a fav movie line: "How lucky I am to have known someone who makes saying 'goodbye' so damn awful."
(I probably butchered the script, but I hope you get my meaning.)

What a wonderful tribute to a person who obviously would have been missed had she not been such a huge part of your families lives. What a wonderful testament of love this is! I am so sorry for your loss, but it's so true that she will be forever in your heart...and she will never fully die as long as her memory lives in you.
