6" Mini Daffodils
Yellow Jasmine
I read that the elaeagnus fruit is very rich
in vitamins A, C and E, as well as minerals
and essential fatty acids.
I tried it this afternoon and I'll get my
vitamins A,C and E elsewhere -
Thank you!
Could someone help me with the name
of this vine cover! I bought it several years
ago to put in a planter with several other plants and by the end of the summer;
it grew out and into bushes behind the pot and
is now all over the bushes - almost like ivy.
It does make a pretty early spring flower.
Sorry to see the Star Magnolia budding out.
The buds are fragile and if it freezes;
we'll loose all the blooms.
I'm still holding out for snow!
Just ONE snow day and
being able to stay home from school.

Happily, I will send you some snow. Enough for one, maybe two snow days :) I love these pictures - do you know how much I needed this glimpse of Spring?! Thank you so very much! oh, and I want to say the flower on the vine looks like vinca/periwinkle.. but honestly I don't know if they "vine." I'm not the most reliable with plant names.. lol.. but that is really pretty! -Tammy
I was going to say periwinkle also, but now I'm not sure. Hope someone can ID that for you. So many pretty blooms - especially the daffodils. Hope you get your snow day!
Not much blooming here! Love your signs of Spring!
hugs, Linda
Love your daffodils! We are still aways from Spring, but it's so nice to see them blooming somewhere else. I am thinking your plant is a vinca. Here's a link you can check out to see if it looks like your plant...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinca_major
I know nothing but could it be morning glories?? Yes the flowers and trees are blooming everywhere - but I bet they will be in for a surprise. Sandie
Such beautiful flowers, I think cold weather is heading your way this weekend.
Hugs to you and stay warm.

The tree on your Blog is wonderful.
Life Oak?? I wish I had one.
The leaves are Vinca Vine, but the flower is like what is on our Periwinkles! Both are vine and vine/like. We got 5 more inches of snow last night, so I really enjoyed your lovely photos!!!
Jealous!!! (Speaking from Maine...where we're covered with a couple feet of snow!)
Watch out, the vinca can take over and its bad. They have pretty flowers on ground cover but man its awful to try to get rid of.
I see spring has come to your area big time.
Oh, my brother just got back from NC seeing the Angel tree. I so want to go see it.
HUGS to you, stay warm.
