RALCY,
was a Chris Craft Clipper that belonged to Ralph and Lucy Dunsmore during the 1940s.
They kept her on Norris Lake, Tennessee where family and friends spent weekends on her fishing and enjoying life on the water.

"I caught a 12" Ky. bass.
This is my last trip out on the boat.
I have had a nice time on the boat this summer. I hope next year I can come out on the boat again.

I love the photos! What a fun memory this is. Those were the days :)
The pictures are great but I really liked the logs your dad wrote. What a fun memory!
Great pictures, and how cool to have that log!! Wonderful!
Great pictures and memories...what a treat your dad enjoyed spending such fun summers on a boat. Thanks for sharing! (My mom graduated high school in the mid-40's)
Love these boating memories! Some of my favorite memories are of the various boats members of my family had - they were all docked at the family cottage. Great memories.
Thanks so much for joining in this week.

Your dad was a BABE and looked so very happy on his grandad's boat! I'm so glad you have the pictures!
Love to see and hear your history there Suzan!
I love old photos and stories. Thanks for sharing with us!
Cool memories of your dad and his aunt and uncle's boat...but most of all, I love your header tree!!! What in the world??? Where is that?
That is really awesome that you have these old photos and records of your dad as a youngster. Cool beans!
Such wonderful photos filled with memories and I adore the yachting log! I found a similar journal at my parents house from my grandparents cabin, with entries by visitors in the 1940's - so much fun! Just think the current generation and those that follow won't be leaving these family mementos behind, so sad!
Happy week to you!
What a wonderful post, Suzan! I love looking back at family photos, and seeing our parents when they were young is always so special. It's like they were other people entirely!
