It's winter time and
I love to make soups and stews.
ONE POT WONDERS!
When my parents came to visit,
they would always bring me
something for the kitchen.
About ten years ago, they brought me this-
a PRESTO
Kitchen Kettle
multi-cooker and steamer!
Instead of a "high - medium - low"
controls, the PRESTO has a
heat control dial.
If need be, I can brown the meat in the pot itself and then turn it down to simmer all day.
It also comes with a steam or fry basket.
The PRESTO steams, stews, roasts,
boils and deep fries.
It's easy to clean -
take off the plug and put it in the dishwasher.
Next time your crock pot dies or you need a GOOD wedding present- get a PRESTO Kitchen Kettle.
BTW- I know it's not "pretty" like a crock pot,
but it works great!

Hmmmm..... Cooking more is one goal for the new year. Maybe this would help.

Oh I adore one pot meals! I make so many of them, especially this time of year. I need to use my crock pot more!
It sounds like a great kitchen item to have! I hate my crockpot, so I will google and see what the Presto looks like. I'm curious now. :)
